Skan AI raises US$63 million Series C to expand agentic process intelligence platform
Enterprise AI process-intelligence company Skan AI has raised US$63 million (approximately AU$96 million) in a Series C funding round co-led by Cathay Innovation and Dell Technologies Capital, with additional participation from Citi Ventures, Bloomberg Beta, State Farm Ventures and Wipro Ventures. The announcement, made on 12 August 2026, coincided with the general release of an expanded platform including Skan AI Blueprint and Skan AI Agents, built on NVIDIA AI Enterprise and NVIDIA NIM microservices.
The funding lands against a difficult backdrop for enterprise AI adoption. Gartner research cited by Skan AI found that only 8 per cent of enterprise AI agents currently reach production and that 95 per cent of early generative AI deployments will need a complete redesign. Skan AI’s pitch is that model capability is not the constraint holding back deployments; the constraint is understanding how work actually happens inside organisations.
How Skan AI’s non-invasive process capture and zero-data egress architecture work
Skan AI’s core technical approach is non-invasive process capture. Rather than relying on system logs, API integrations or documented standard operating procedures, the platform deploys workstation agents that observe screen-level interactions across CRMs, mainframes, email clients and legacy applications. This produces what the company calls a “context graph of work”, a dynamic map of how tasks are actually completed by staff, as distinct from how a procedure manual says they should be completed.
The scale of the underlying dataset is substantial. Skan AI states its platform has processed over 25 billion work signals and is currently in use at 25 per cent of Fortune 50 companies and seven of the top ten US banks. In one reported deployment at a major US bank, the platform observed 11.2 million individual context switches across 1,500 finance professionals. That level of granular observation identified US$37 million (approximately AU$56 million) in operational friction, and the resulting agentic workflows delivered a 32 per cent reduction in transaction costs and a 41 per cent increase in operational throughput.
The product suite is structured around three components. Blueprint discovers and prioritises workflows by return on investment potential. Intelligence provides living process mapping and benchmarking against observed behaviour rather than static documentation. Agents executes autonomous tasks governed by what the company terms Agentic Operating Procedures, a mechanism for constraining AI agent behaviour to patterns validated against real operational data rather than assumed best practice.
A significant architectural detail is the zero-data egress privacy design. All signal processing occurs inside the client organisation’s own security perimeter, meaning sensitive operational data is not exported to external servers for analysis. This is specifically positioned for heavily regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare and insurance, where data sovereignty and confidentiality obligations restrict what can leave an organisation’s own systems. Co-founder and CEO Avinash Misra framed the company’s thesis directly: “Everyone is obsessed with building a better driver. We think the bigger opportunity is building a better navigation system… You cannot retrieve context that you do not capture.”
