iEnvi carried out a preliminary site investigation at a mechanic workshop in Wynnum, QLD to support finance approval. Potential contamination sources were inspected and targeted soil sampling returned no detections of contaminants of concern, enabling the lender to approve the purchase. Practical ongoing management steps were provided to the client to minimise future contamination risk.
iEnvi completed preliminary soil investigations at multiple inner‑Sydney parks in early 2019. Hydrocarbons were detected in shallow soil at two parks, and targeted leachate testing demonstrated the hydrocarbons were immobile, allowing playground upgrades to proceed without further remediation or environmental management plans.
Targeted soil sampling at three sites identified shallow hydrocarbon contamination at two locations. iEnvi recommended a cost‑efficient program combining a biological treatment additive (S200 OilGone) with excavation and encapsulation to reduce health, ecological and transaction risk.

Shallow soil testing at a residential site in Morningside prior to construction of a childcare centre found concentrations below regulatory assessment criteria for human health and ecological receptors. Soil was considered low risk and no further action was required. Reuse options may now be considered prior to offsite removal.
iEnvi completed a preliminary site investigation (PSI) and soil sampling for a Sydney property intended for residential redevelopment. A 253‑page technical report and site history review concluded the site is suitable for residential use and suitable to support a development application.
iEnvi completed a 216‑page Preliminary Site Investigation and soil sampling program for a proposed Nepali place of worship in north‑western Sydney. The PSI found no evidence of contamination that would prevent the proposed use, and provides the documentation needed to support a Development Application where land history indicates only agricultural use.
Investigation and ASSMP for an industrial development in Hastings (Mornington Peninsula) including field pHF/pHFOX screening, ~50 samples from 24 bores, SPOCAS laboratory testing, PASS mapping and construction-phase soil and water monitoring to manage acid sulfate soil risk and meet Victorian requirements.
iEnvi supervised a 2019 resource-recovery program to reuse road asphalt millings as engineering fill for new sports fields. About 19,755 tonnes from 56 roads were reused under Recovered Aggregate Order requirements and assessed suitable for public open-space use.
iEnvi has undertaken soil vapour sampling, using the implementation of the ASC NEPM, to identify potential risks of vapour intrusion regarding human exposure on various sites.
