Brisbane Airport QLD — NBN trench and pit works

iEnvi supported a Tier 1 contractor to deliver NBN trenching and pit works across Brisbane Airport precincts, managing PFAS and asbestos risk, enabling in‑situ waste classification and immediate backfill to meet Commonwealth safety requirements and avoid costly hazardous disposals.

Environmental Delineation Investigation at Industrial Site in Northwest Sydney

cleanout access

iEnvi completed a Delineation Investigation (DI) at an aerosol and paint manufacturing site in northwest Sydney. The DI installed three groundwater monitoring wells, 13 soil bores and two stormwater points, collecting 8 groundwater, 39 soil and 2 stormwater samples. Findings showed minor soil hydrocarbons (one local exceedance), groundwater elevated dissolved metals likely related to background geochemistry, and isolated vapour-intrusion exceedances — prompting targeted sub‑slab vapour testing and further risk-management recommendations to meet NSW EPA expectations.

Compliance investigation and cost‑effective remediation of asbestos‑impacted soil — Coolaroo industrial site (VIC)

industrial site land

iEnvi investigated asbestos‑impacted soil and groundwater at an industrial site in Coolaroo (VIC). Bonded asbestos in stockpiled soil was removed by hand‑picking (emu‑picking) and the remaining material verified for reuse as clean fill, avoiding costly landfill disposal while meeting EPA Victoria obligations under the General Environmental Duty.
